Ricardo Heredia Salazar

Ricardo has broad experience in Corporate Law, specializing in Banking and Finance, M&A and Real Estate. He has also specialized in Project Finance, Labor, Intellectual Property, Compliance and Restructures. Apart from the above, he has solid skills regarding negotiation and regulatory matters. Some of these matters include governmental affairs and business development. 

Ricardo holds a law degree from Universidad Anáhuac México, a specialization degree in Banking and Finance Law at Universidad Panamericana, Management postgraduate studies at Yale University, an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law, and an MBA at Boston University Questrom School of Business. He was research assistant to Emeritus Researcher Dr. Luis Rafael Moreno González, at the National Institute of Criminal Sciences (INACIPE). He has lectured at Universidad Anáhuac México the course of International Financial Law and is currently Professor of Legal English at such University.

He has the appointment of Associate Researcher at the Law School of the Universidad Anáhuac México, where his scholarly research interests involve the regulatory framework of companies, as well as the services of financial institutions in Mexico and abroad.

• Represented a global leader in information and measurement, providing market research company, in the sale of several real estate properties.
• Represented an aircraft industry leader, in the acquisition of certain aircrafts through financial leases.
• Represented important financial institutions and insurance companies in the country, regarding negotiating and closing of syndicated loans.
• Advised domestic and foreign creditors on the structuring and restructuring of credits (with and without guarantees).
• Advised one of the most important groups in the retail industry in Mexico and Latin America, on corporate strategies.
• Advised several companies on planning and executing of corporate restructures. 
• Represented and advised several national and international companies in various M&A transactions.
• Represented several companies on the real estate sector, during negotiations, drafting of credit agreements and trusts.
• Advised and represented several worldwide leading German automobile companies on leasing and financing lease, data privacy, litigation and money laundering procedures. 
• Advised one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies on litigation procedures.
• Advised on the implementation of strategic recommendations in distribution agreements with pharmaceutical companies.
• Represented several financial institutions, regarding legal feasibility of certain projects.
• Represented one of the largest financial institutions in the United States of America in mortgage credit litigation.
• Represented several SOFOMs in disputes with financial users in Condusef.
